About Us
A story of magic and imagination
My Fairy Penpal, created by a mum
You’ve probably found yourself here with a special little person in mind.
Well picture them now… arriving at the doormat to find a little pink envelope.
They can’t quite believe it but it’s addressed to them. They pick it up… look at you questionably… a smile of excitement creeping onto their face. You shrug… nothing to do with you… what could it be? Eagerly, carefully, they peel it open. It’s a personalised letter from their very own Fairy Penpal!
When I was a little girl my Grandma would always have my sister and I, foraging around at the bottom of her garden looking for fairies. Even though she was in her 60s and I was a slightly sceptical 10 year old, she’d have me wondering… was that one behind the tree stump? Did I just catch a glimpse of a silvery wing between the blades of grass? Searching for them with her was pure magic!
Imagination is so important for the social and intellectual development of children. That ability to make an old chair into a racing car or imagine a giant at the top of a bean stalk is something that fades as we get older but if we really try most of us can remember the magic of make believe. It’s that skill of imagination that nurtures our children’s creativity, ability to build and retain relationships with others and helps them work through real life situations to help them understand them better.

“Our children’s brains are capable of such brilliant and vivid imaginations if we would only give them space to fill in the blanks.”
My Fairy Penpal brings your child’s imagination alive with fortnightly letters and gifts from your very own fairy.
Whilst also helping to improve reading and writing skills, our main aim is to go back to the very roots of imagination, storytelling from one friend to another. Our children are surrounded by over produced television programmes that leave little to no room for imagination. Our children’s brains are capable of such brilliant and vivid imaginations if we would only give them space to fill in the blanks.
Imagination isn’t about what you see. It’s about what you didn’t see. Or what you almost saw…or what you might have seen…maybe. And that’s what My Fairy Penpal is all about. That excitement of ….maybe.
I really hope your little one loves it as much as I do.
Love Ellie

She’s going to need your help to save the fairy kingdom. Can you help her make people believe in fairies again?
